• The full-length adjuster within the Futura system has a mounted aluminum stay, providing more rigidity. The Fire-specific internal frame consists of a single, vertical, fiberglass rod against an HDPE frame sheet. Together, these create a full-length, stiffened body panel that transfers the weight into the wings of the waist belt. It also features a Redirect waist belt system that secures in a natural, forward pull direction that requires less effort to tighten and with patented features and construction methods, the waist belt cants and conforms over the hips to effectively transfer and distribute the weight eliminating slippage down over the hips.

Getting Your Size

The key to a confortable pack load is the properly fitting backpack. We've designed a more custom fit into our packs with simple sizing based off two measurements. To find the appropriate size waist and yoke for your pack, collect the following two measurements, then reference the sizing chart below.

Waist Circumference

Measure around your waist just above the top of your hip bones (roughly two fingers below your belly button).

Torso

Use a tailors tape measure or string and have a friend measure between the bony bump at the base of your neck (C7 vertebra) to the spot on your spine that is just behind your belly button.
